Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actor, director writer, producer, as well as an educator for St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton, the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" that is originally from Britain.
