Then, in 1998 she graduated from Harvard College with a Bachelor's degree. Welker is married to John Hughes a well-known marketing director for Merck in Philadelphia and the couple has two children. They began having an affair. John her husband is four years younger than her. They were enjoying their relationship and they decided to keep their friendship going. They got married on March 4, 2017.
