
Lowell began acting in Dangerously Close, followed by one small role in Club Paradise, starring as Robin Williams. The actress went on to other roles, including co-starring with Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond film Licence to Kill (1989) and, from 1996 onwards she was the Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross for two seasons on the television drama Law & Order, a character she reprised in the year 2005 as a guest star on its spinoff, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and again on the original series in 2022, when it was relaunched for a 21st season. Before she was cast in the role she was frustrated with her acting career , and had applied to study documentary filmmaking at New York University. [4] She was not acting until the mid-2000s. Lowell was able to lend Lowell her voice and likeness in 2012, while also reprising her Licence to Kill part in the video game 007 Legends. [2] In September 2013 they divorced after 11 years of marriage. The couple was involved in a controversial divorce proceeding in the New York Supreme Court for three years.
